The American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to educating physicians and other health care professionals on the latest findings and emerging procedures in complementary, alternative and integrative (CAIM) medicine. ACAM enables members of the public to connect with physicians who take an integrative approach to patient care and empowers people with information about integrative medicine treatment options.
American Academy of Environmental Medicine
The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) was founded in 1965, and is an international association of physicians and other professionals interested in the clinical aspects of man and his environment. The Academy is interested in expanding the knowledge of interactions between human individuals and their environment, as these may be demonstrated to be reflected in their total health.
American Holistic Medical Association
The AHMA was founded in 1978 to unite licensed physicians who practice holistic medicine. It is the oldest holistic medicine organization of its kind, and many of today's national leaders in holistic medicine got their start as members of the AHMA.
